• It works by inhibiting the development of fungi probably by interfering with spindle formation at mitosis (cell division).
• Used in various ways such as seed treatment, soil drench, soil mixture and foliar sprays. It is advisable to use Carbendazim in alternate with contact fungicides
• When applied to the foliage the fungicide gets into the xylem and spreads to the distal parts of the leaf but not in the opposite direction towards the roots.
