  • It acts as a growth inhibitor. The salts are readily absorbed by the roots, whilst esters are readily absorbed by the foliage. Translocation occurs, with accumulation principally at the meristematic regions of shoots and roots.
  • Systemic herbicide which selectively kills most broadleaf weeds by causing uncontrolled growth in them
  • Needs a rain free period of 6-10 hours from application for full absorption of the chemical.
